Work deadlines, family expectations, money goals, social pressure , sometimes it feels like you’re always chasing something. In 2026, a lot of us need to relearn something simple: being kinder to ourselves. Not motivational-poster kindness. Real life kindness. Give yourself permission to rest.

Rest is not laziness. Taking a break does not mean you’re failing. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is slow down, breathe, and reset.

When there was reported missile activity in the air, residents received emergency alerts nationwide. People got messages on their phones telling them to go indoors immediately, stay away from windows, and await further instructions. UAE authorities said that their defense systems stopped the threats but some pieces of debris fell and caused minor damage and one person died. They want everyone to know that they took precautions quickly and that their emergency systems are functioning effectively.

The government is telling the public that:

  • They are monitoring the situation continuously to make sure everyone is safe.
  • Emergency teams are ready to respond to emergencies.
  • Important services like water and electricity are still working.
  • People should only listen to announcements and not spread rumors online.

Travel Disruptions and Airspace Closures

Air travel has been disrupted. To be safe the United Arab Emirates closed its airspace for a while, which meant that no commercial planes could take off or land except for emergency and military planes.
