Nadeen Ayoub, the Dubai-Based Palestinian Making History at Miss Universe 2025
History is about to take place in Palestine as Nadeen Ayoub, a 27-year-old Palestinian beauty queen and advocate based in Dubai, is set to become the first-ever representative of the country at the iconic Miss Universe pageant. Her participation this November isn’t just walking the runway, it’s her giving a powerful voice to a people striving to be heard.

A Legacy of Advocacy and Pageantry
Ayoub is not new in the international pageantry world. Her first appearance was in 2022, when she was crowned Miss Palestine. Also that same year, she competed in Miss Earth and reached the top five, earning the title of Miss Water. This was a remarkable feat for her country.
Nadeen is a trained wellness and nutrition coach, she holds a degree in literature and psychology, and runs the Olive Green Academy in Dubai, a pioneering institution focused on sustainability training powered by AI.

From Pause to Platform: Though slated for international pageants, Ayoub postponed her Miss Universe journey amid the conflict in Gaza, believing that the spotlight belonged on those suffering rather than on her.
Now, with renewed purpose, she’s embracing the platform, not just with beauty, but with a message:
“Today, I step onto the Miss Universe stage not just with a title, but with a truth… We are more than our suffering, we are resilience, hope, and the heartbeat of a homeland that lives on through us.”
To Nadeen, being Miss Universe isn’t about elegance alone, it’s a responsibility. “When you have that power, you have a responsibility to speak out,” she said, adding that no one should remain silent in the face of injustice.

A Pageant with Purpose
This year, the 74th Miss Universe will be held on November 21, 2025, at the Impact Challenger Hall in Thailand, just outside Bangkok. And it marks a historic debut for Palestine, joining more than 130 countries and territories in one of the world’s most-watched pageants.
The Miss Universe Organization has warmly welcomed her, describing Ayoub as “an accomplished advocate and model who embodies the resilience and determination that define our platform.”

Why This Matters
In a world where some countries still suffer discrimination and identity struggles, Ayoub’s entry is hope. She brings forward not only the Palestinian flag, but the stories of women and children affected by conflict, striving to be heard,to make a difference in a world where suffering is the order of things
Her role blends heritage with advocacy, and she roots her activism in empathy and cultural pride.
Nadeen Ayoub’s journey is a great reminder — that beauty and brains can and should stand hand in hand with courage and compassion. As she prepares to light the global stage this November, she carries a weight far greater than a sash: the hope and voice of Palestine.
