Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton SS26: A Cultural Tapestry Woven with Star Power
Paris Fashion Week has always and will continue to be a fashion spectacle, a celebration of unconventional style, energy, and culture, where fashion houses compete for the spotlight. When Pharrell Williams, the creative genius unveiled for Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, the anticipation was high.

The inspiration Pharrell had for the SS26 collection was based on cultural fusion. What stood out the most was the “Snakes and Ladders” theme for the collection, a theme that deeply connected to life.

The snake and Ladders represent the highs and lows, wins and losses, the struggles and triumphs. The pieces were audacious, vibrant, and unusual, combining both traditional Indian patterns and luxury streetwear that we’ve come to affiliate with Pharrell.
But what truly made the event unique was its ability to merge contrasting traditional inspirations into something that was both connected and fashionable. Inspired by his deep love for Indian clothing styles, Pharrell was able to display luxurious, textured materials and designs from jackets adorned with embroidery to detailed beading and decorative designs. These were the elegant Louis Vuitton that is known and loved. The combination was so balanced, it perfectly blended both luxury and culture.
And it wasn’t just about clothes, the accessories drew attention as well. Each model who walked the runway had accessories that perfectly complemented the collection, from bags to palms. The Speedy Bandoulière 20, an unforgettable Louis Vuitton piece stole the spotlight in a variety of new, beautiful patterns. It has become not just an accessory but a statement.

And one of the moments that was noteworthy and has gone on to become viral in the fashion industry was the moment Pharrell himself surprisingly gifted Beyoncé one of bags from the collection. Beyoncé, who sat at the front row looking elegant in a denim jumpsuit and burgundy fur coat, was given one of the standout pieces of the event, the Bandoulière 20 bag, with caramel-stripes that captured attention easily. This gift wasnt just a fashion-forward move, it was a gesture that spoke loudly of the mutual admiration of two global icons.

Harry Styles proved that one thing can completely change how you look. The British singer stepped out in New York City for a dinner with the Saturday Night Live cast. He carried a leopard-print Chanel flap bag. Harry Styles is known for experimenting with fashion. On stage, he often wears colorful and detailed outfits. When he’s not performing, he tends to dress casually. The bag was from Chanel’s Métiers d’Art Spring 2026 collection designed by Matthieu Blazy.

The textured bag rested on his shoulder held by gold chain straps.. He wore it to dinner at Lattanzi with the Saturday Night Live cast. and kept the rest of his outfit simple. He wore a navy sweater over a white shirt with blue jeans. He paired it with black loafers and white socks, along with sunglasses.
This appearance came ahead of his upcoming hosting appearance on Saturday Night Live. Harry Styles is once again proving that great style comes down to confidence and self-expression. Styles has been photographed with designer bags on several occasions over the years. In 2024, he was seen in Brooklyn carrying two bags from The Row during a daytime outing with actress Taylor Russell. One was the Margaux carryall, while the other was the Slouchy Banana Two nylon crossbody.

Earlier appearances have also included a black Gucci shoulder bag during a visit to BBC Radio studios in London, as well as a Tom Ford duffle carried to a television taping. Handbags and carryalls have appeared repeatedly in his off-stage wardrobe for travel, public appearances, and casual outings. The Chanel bag seen at the Saturday Night Live dinner is another example of Styles carrying designer bags as part of his everyday wardrobe.

Dressed in an all-pink outfit, the CEO of 11:11 Media, Paris Hilton appeared to channel the iconic Elle Woods from “Legally Blonde”. She wore a soft pink button-up cardigan paired with a matching polo shirt and a pleated midi skirt. She added pink-tinted sunglasses and a pink quilted Gucci handbag.

Hilton’s visit to the NYSE was purposeful, as a seasoned entrepreneur, she has been expanding her media empire, 11:11 Media, including digital content, consumer products, and impact-driven initiatives. Her appearance at the exchange comes as she continues to grow her brand beyond entertainment and into business and advocacy. Most recently, she joined activist Gloria Steinem to ring the Closing Bell in honor of International Women’s Day.

During her appearance, Hilton highlighted the “Back in Business” initiative, which supports women-owned small businesses. Standing on the trading floor in pink, Paris made something clear to us, and that is women can lead in the world’s most powerful financial institutions without compromising their personal style. Her appearance also follows a growing trend of celebrities visiting the exchange, including actress Jennifer Garner, who made an appearance at the NYSE last month for a similar bell-ringing event.

Aside from Hilton’s outfit, her presence emphasized her growing role as a businesswoman and media executive, showing how entertainment figures are increasingly stepping into spaces traditionally dominated by finance and corporate leadership.
A woman has been arrested for attempted murder after allegedly firing shots at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home. No one was hurt in the incident. The Los Angeles Police Department says 35‑year‑old Ivanna Ortiz was taken into custody after a shooting occurred at the pop star’s residence in Beverly Hills California.
On Sunday, March 8, around 1:15 p.m. police received a call reporting gunshots at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home. Upon arriving at the scene, authorities identified Ivanna Ortiz as the person who allegedly fired the shots.

Ivanna Ortiz parked her car outside Rihanna’s house. Shot severally with an AR-15-style. Then she ran away from the house. Most of the bullets hit the gates and a parked car at Rihanna’s house. According to LAPD radio dispatch communications cited by the Los Angeles Times, officers confirmed the suspect fired approximately 10 shots at the property.
Police later located Ivanna Ortiz at a shopping center in Sherman Oaks about eight miles from Rihanna’s home. When they arrested her they also found the gun she used. Ivanna Ortiz has been arrested, and police have set her bail at $10.2 million for her release.

Luckily nobody got hurt when the shooting happened. Rihanna was at home when the incident occurred. It remains unclear whether A$AP Rocky or their children were also home at the time of the shooting.
The police have not yet determined why Ivanna Ortiz carried out the shooting and are continuing their investigation. Rihanna’s representatives have not released any statements regarding the incident.
