Fatma Husam’s Modern Take on the Kaftan

Published

on

There are few garments that carry timeless graceful history and beauty as the Kaftan. Traditionally designed to be flowing and heavily decorated. The Kaftan has long been known to be significant in both Middle Eastern culture and luxurious lifestyle.  But leave it to Dubai-based fashion diva Fatma Husam, she breathed fresh radical life into this beloved classic and transformed it into something modern without losing its cultural appeal.

Fatma Husam

Fatma’s Instagram is a gallery of classy Kaftan displays. Scroll through and you’ll see how she masterfully reinterprets the Kaftan creatively playing with structure, texture, and accessories to create looks that feel both rooted and refreshingly current. In a recent photo taken in  Athena Greece, she wore a milk-white kaftan with subtly exaggerated sleeves that catch the breeze cinched at the waist with a minimal belt that redefines the whole look. Adding a soft gold bangle to complete the look.

The Elegance of Kaftan

This exact balance makes Fatma’s style so captivating. She keeps tradition despite appearing unique. Her Kaftans often come in soft colors making every design on it stand out. There’s also something deeply empowering in the way Fatma wears her kaftans. She has taken beyond just the ordinary traditional clothing making it a modern wear for shows and top events. The Kaftan has become a canvas of self expression to showcase her individuality. Watching her drape delicate chains over a high neckline or pull a structured blazer over her kaftan for an unexpected day-to-night transition reveals Fatma’s philosophy: modesty does not entail monotony.

Modesty and Class Is Fatma

Her followers can feel it, and also once you visit her page you would be drawn to her aura. Women pour out praises in her comment section praising her elegance and asking for tips. Her modesty feels inspirational and it’s about presenting yourself that feels true to who you are.

Perhaps that’s why her modern take on the kaftan resonates so deeply. Fatma Husam’s hands transform this classic item into something unique.  It becomes a modest declaration that style is more than just trends or labels; it is about personal storytelling and creating new methods to appreciate your roots while expressing who you are now. This is a key to also draw inspiration and recreate your traditional piece into something beautifully modern.

Cristiano Ronaldo Debuts a Blonde Hair Colour

Cristiano Ronaldo has a new look to go with a new chapter.

The 41-year-old Al-Nassr forward debuted his blonde hairstyle on August 13, 2026, trading the dark brown shade that has defined much of his career for a lighter, textured cut.

He was first seen with the color on August 15 during a family outing in Riyadh, where he and Georgina Rodríguez watched a Saudi Pro League match with their children. The change was even more pronounced six days later on the pitch, when Ronaldo took the field for Al-Nassr against Al-Riyadh. His spiky blonde hair stood out against the club’s yellow-and-blue kit. He wore the look again on August 23 at the Esports World Cup closing ceremony in Paris, pairing the blonde style with an all-black outfit.

The timing is notable.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez exchanged vows at their Cascais home in Portugal on August 11 in a private civil ceremony. The couple, together since 2017 and engaged in 2025, kept the event intimate with their children present. Rodríguez told Vogue that they wanted something personal rather than a large public celebration.

For a player whose image has been as consistent as his performance, the hair change reads as a deliberate reset. Dark hair has been part of Ronaldo’s recognisable look for nearly two decades, from his time at Manchester United and Real Madrid to Juventus and now Al-Nassr. The shift to a shorter, more textured blonde style immediately changes his familiar silhouette.

Ronaldo has changed his hairstyle throughout his career, sometimes making choices that become part of his public image.
What makes the transformation stand out is the combination of colour, cut and texture. The blonde shade is striking on its own, but the shorter length and spiked finish are what give Ronaldo’s new look its distinctly different character.

Whether the blonde is temporary or the start of a longer run remains to be seen. For now, it is the most visible signal yet that this season, both on and off the field, is being approached differently.
