Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton SS26: A Cultural Tapestry Woven with Star Power
Paris Fashion Week has always and will continue to be a fashion spectacle, a celebration of unconventional style, energy, and culture, where fashion houses compete for the spotlight. When Pharrell Williams, the creative genius unveiled for Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, the anticipation was high.
The scene and ambiance was enough to blow you away. The show was held at the Pompidou Centre, a Parisian landmark known for its state-of-the-art architecture and unique but vibrant. The inspiration Pharrell had for the SS26 collection was based on cultural fusion. What stood out the most was the “Snakes and Ladders” theme for the collection, a theme that deeply connected to life.

The snake and Ladders represent the highs and lows, wins and losses, the struggles and triumphs. The pieces were audacious, vibrant, and unusual, combining both traditional Indian patterns and luxury streetwear that we’ve come to affiliate with Pharrell.
But what truly made the event unique was its ability to merge contrasting traditional inspirations into something that was both connected and fashionable. Inspired by his deep love for Indian clothing styles, Pharrell was able to display luxurious, textured materials and designs from jackets adorned with embroidery to detailed beading and decorative designs. These were the elegant Louis Vuitton that is known and loved. The combination was so balanced, it perfectly blended both luxury and culture.
And it wasn’t just about clothes, the accessories drew attention as well. Each model who walked the runway had accessories that perfectly complemented the collection, from bags to palms. The Speedy Bandoulière 20, an unforgettable Louis Vuitton piece stole the spotlight in a variety of new, beautiful patterns. It has become not just an accessory but a statement.

And one of the moments that was noteworthy and has gone on to become viral in the fashion industry was the moment Pharrell himself surprisingly gifted Beyoncé one of bags from the collection. Beyoncé, who sat at the front row looking elegant in a denim jumpsuit and burgundy fur coat, was given one of the standout pieces of the event, the Bandoulière 20 bag, with caramel-stripes that captured attention easily. This gift wasnt just a fashion-forward move, it was a gesture that spoke loudly of the mutual admiration of two global icons.

This collection was just another fashion event, it was a deep cultural experience. Pharrell was able to combine both traditional and contemporary fashion styles in a way that made them timeless. The attendees, consisting of high-profile guests, couldn’t look away from the runway. So whether you were lucky to be there in person or you’re only just hearing about it now, there’s no denying the fact that Pharrell has made a wonderful impact in the fashion world in this era. The SS26 collection was more than just another fashion event, it is a cultural event that will remain in our hearts for a long time.

Dubai’s luxury dining scene welcomed a major new addition with the opening of Nobu One Za’abeel, the latest outpost from the globally known Nobu brand. The restaurant at The Link, One&Only One Za’abeel, opened first with a private, invite-only event before welcoming the public.

The opening attracted a high profile of both international and regional celebrities, reinforcing Nobu’s reputation as a global lifestyle brand as much as a dining destination. Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema was among the guests, drawing global attention and bringing a vibrant, youthful energy to the evening.

Lindsay Lohan, now living in Dubai, also joined the event, she kept up her presence at the city’s top cultural and luxury gatherings. Jean-Claude Van Damme, a Hollywood action legend, and U.S. rapper Gunna both made appearances at the launch. Jacqueline Fernandez and Bobby Deol represented Bollywood at the event, highlighting the brand’s close connection with South Asian audiences.

Supermodel Chanel Iman added a notable fashion presence, reflecting the crossover between dining, style and celebrity culture that defines Nobu openings world-wide.
The guest list included leading Arab entertainment and media figures such as Nawal El Zoghbi, Dorra Zarrouk, Karen Wazen, and Noha Nabil, highlighting the venue’s popularity in the regional creative scene. Music artist AP Dhillon was also present.

The event was hosted by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Meir Teper, and featured a traditional Japanese kagami biraki ceremony to celebrate the opening. Guests enjoyed Nobu’s signature Japanese-Peruvian dishes alongside menu items created exclusively for the Dubai location.

As Rihanna and her long-time partner, A$AP Rocky, adjusted to life as parents, the Instagram exchange occurred. The couple has a daughter, Rocki Irish, who was born in September 2025, and two sons, RZA Athelston, and Riot Rose.

Hollywood’s biggest stars gathered at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday to honor the best film and television of the year. Host Nikki Glaser opened the night with sharp jokes aimed at CBS, the Department of Justice and several celebrities.
Awards were handed out quickly, with wins for Teyana Taylor (One Battle After Another), Stellan Skarsgård (Sentimental Value), Noah Wyle, Rose Byrne, Seth Rogen, Michelle Williams and Jean Smart. Pitt won Best Drama, while Noah Wyle took home Best Actor in a Television Series Drama.

One Battle After Another earned multiple awards, Sinners won Cinematic Box Office Achievement, KPop Demon Hunters won Best Animated Film and Best Song, The Secret Agent won Best Foreign Film, and Amy Poehler’s podcast won Best Podcast.
Also Netflix’s miniseries Adolescence dominated the night with four awards. Owen Cooper became the youngest Supporting Actor winner in Golden Globes history, while Stephen Graham and Erin Doherty also won. The series claimed Best Limited Series, Anthology Series or TV Movie.

Timothée Chalamet beat Leonardo DiCaprio for Best Actor for Marty Supreme and thanked partner Kylie Jenner. Jessie Buckley won Best Female Actor in a Drama for Hamnet, which also won Best Drama.
