Andrew Tate’s Ex-Girlfriend Alleges She Was Trapped in Dubai for Six Weeks

Published

Brianna Stern, who previously dated Andrew Tate, has updated her lawsuit to include a new claim that: Tate deliberately set her up in a situation that left her stuck in Dubai for close to six weeks. Stern claims Tate went to authorities in Dubai and accused her of making damaging comments about him online, an allegation she says was entirely made up.

Under UAE law, such accusations can trigger criminal investigations that prevent the accused from leaving the country. Stern describes this alleged scheme as a “honeypot trap,” noting that as a model she travels to Dubai frequently — something Tate reportedly knew.

Stern arrived in Dubai on September 27 for work, and says everything was fine until October 12, when she tried to leave. Airport officials informed her that she was under investigation and had been slapped with a travel ban. Police reportedly confiscated her phone and interrogated her multiple times over the next six weeks. She says she even sought help from the U.S. Embassy but was told they could not intervene. Meanwhile, Stern claims she received threatening messages on social media, allegedly from Tate’s “minions.”

In September, Stern obtained a restraining order that legally prohibits Tate from contacting her or being in close proximity to her for three years. Stern believes the harassment she experienced during the Dubai incident may have violated this order.

The amended lawsuit, filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, adds claims of false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress on top of the sexual assault allegations Stern made earlier this year, she made it back to Los Angeles around November 21, though the lawsuit doesn’t explain how she was finally able to leave. Tate and his legal team have not yet responded to the latest claims.

Thousands Take Over Sheikh Zayed Road for Dubai Run 2025

Published

on

Yesterday morning, Dubai started off differently. Sheikh Zayed Road turned into a bright blue wave of participants replacing the usual rush-hour traffic. A record-breaking 307,000 runners filled the 14-lane highway for Dubai Run 2025, presented by Mai Dubai.  Now in its seventh year, the event lived up to its title as the world’s largest free community run and was one of the best parts of this year’s Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC).

Families, first-time runners, seasoned athletes, and casual joggers were out and prepared for the event early in the morning. The procession began with police supercars and passed some of Dubai’s most well-known sites, including the Dubai Water Canal, the Museum of the Future, and the Burj Khalifa. The celebration began at 6:30 a.m. with the raising of the UAE flag. Also, paragliders and aerial paramotors lit up the sky with fireworks in the national colours to mark the build-up to National Day.

The atmosphere throughout the morning was energetic. The start line was adorned with UAE flags for Eid Al Etihad, while giant LED puppets, warrior drum crews, marching bands, stilt walkers, DJs from UNTOLD, and celebrity MCs Kris Fade and Katie Overy kept the energy high. Cooling mist, bubble arches, and festive mascots, were given to those who ran until the end.

Participants chose between two routes: a family-friendly 5km heading through Downtown Dubai to Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, and a more challenging 10km stretching along Sheikh Zayed Road to DIFC Gate. Shafeek Hassan and his friends participated in the event for the sixth time, and families such as Ijaz Jamile’s, who also completed the Dubai Ride earlier this month, returned for the DFC. Runners brought playful touches too, including Zam and his colleagues dressed as fruits promoting healthy eating.

Saeed Hareb, the general secretary of Dubai Sports Council praised the turnout as a powerful display of unity in the UAE’s Year of Community, while DFRE CEO Ahmed Al Khaja noted that the event presents Dubai as a global wellness destination.

With the Dubai Run now complete, DFC 2025 moves toward its grand finale: Dubai Yoga on 30 November at Zabeel Park.
